DAY 1

Accommodation in the rooms of the hotel Veter 3 * in Ruše. In the hotel we will present a tasting of honey products, and special honey sparkling wines.

In the once industrial town of Ruše pod Pohorjem, only 9 kilometers from Maribor, a plan for the development of tourism in the municipality was created years ago. Natural resources, the proximity of Pohorje forests, ski resorts and the Drava River contributed to the accelerated construction of tourist infrastructure. In 2008, they started arranging institutions by building in the first open accommodation plant in Ruše, three-star hotels Veter and youth hostel Vetrnica.
Hotel Veter is at a great location, a bit away from the hustle and bustle of the city, and before that it is located on Pohorje, not far from the new ski slope Pisker II, part of which is the new 6-seater chairlift.
Hotel Veter was named after the natural characteristic
of the city, which is an inaccessible gust of northwest wind, which is a constant in weather forecasts. They used the name “Veter” as a synonym for movement, dynamics… Hotel Veter is a driving force for the future tourism in municipality.
Accommodation is available in 150 beds for guests of various types. You will be able to choose between one of 37 double rooms (hotel Veter), youth hostel (Vernica) or in one of the other high quality suites in the hotel.
The special feature of the hotel is that it has adapted its goal to the common ones. Thus, among the double rooms we find rooms for athletes in rooms for business guests, in the youth hotel Vetrnica you will find your accommodation for all young travelers, familis or those who don’t want to neglect the comfort, and in the apartments for those who want prestige in remoteness.

Beekeeping Marko Cesar offers a very diverse in thoughtful sales program of honey and other bee products. Here you will find just about everything for health in culinary honey delights. It produces floral, chestnut, acacia, creamy honey and honey combinations of new flavors. Marko has an extraordinary imagination and a creative streak. Visitors are delighted over the original cinnamon honey, blueberry honey, honey with dried fruit, honey with chocolate and hazelnuts. He also produces products such as propolis, pollen, honey syrup in spruce chores, a mixture of honey-pollen-royal dairy products in propolis, beeswax candles and a number of business gifts. He produces premium honey drinks such as mead, sparkling mead and honey liqueur.

We will prepare a typical Styrian lunch consisting of famous local dishes.

14:30

After lunch departure to the nearby Drava Center – a sports center in nature, directly by the river Drava. You will try rowing in search of the Drava crocodile – whoever found it for the first time, previously * Pohorski ključ *, organized sports activities of your choice in a beauty, sports afternoon.

In the Drava Center, as part of DC’s social sports activities, the Ponirek Association can offer a variety of activities for kayaking, canoeing, sailing, SUP board, slackline,… and sports equipment in sports activities at all DC sports facilities.

You will cooke your dinner by yourself, under the guidance of a chef who will help you prepare the best possible Pohorje pisker.

A night kayak descent awaits you.

Arrival at the foot of Pohorje. The ascent to the Styrian giant is waiting for you, but don’t worry, the first prize will be a real adrenaline experience. On the

Trikotna jasa (triangular clearing) you will be expected by Monster Rollers – robust scooters with wide wheels of rough profile, which have been adapted for adrenaline rides on varied terrain. As many as 5 rides / descents await you. When you return to Trikotna jasa, you will be served the local story huts with a lunch full of typical Styrian delicacies. To quench your thirst, a winegrower from the famous wine road in Svečina will prepare a tasting of his best wines in nature and pour you a real Styrian Spritzer. You will descend into the valley with a summer bobsleigh
(PohorJet).
